Installation Instructions

Installing Antair Call Screener onto your BlackBerry device couldn't be easier. You don't even need access to a computer. You can install directly from your BlackBerry device.


[1] Start the BlackBerry web browser

[2] Browse to http://www.antair.com/ota

[3] Click on the Antair Call Screener link

[4] Done!


Antair Call Screener will download and install onto your device automatically.

* IMPORTANT *
After installation, to make full and proper use of Antair BlackBerry Call Screener, the software needs to have certain settings enabled on your BlackBerry device. To see if these settings are enabled, go into OPTIONS::ADVANCED OPTIONS::APPLICATIONS. Find the entry for Antair Call Screener, and select EDIT PERMISSIONS from the menu. Make certain that INTERPROCESS COMMUNICATION under INTERACTIONS, and PHONE under CONNECTIONS are both set to ALLOW. If they are not, set those settings to ALLOW after installation, and you'll be all set.



An alternative way to download and install.

Alternatively, you can download Antair BlackBerry Call Screener to your desktop, and then use the BlackBerry Desktop Manager to install the software to your BlackBerry handheld.

What follows, are instructions for installing Antair BlackBerry Call Screener through the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Unzip the downloaded file.

Inside, there are two files: AntairCallScreener.cod and AntairCallScreener.alx.

Start the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. This is software that came with your BlackBerry device. Among other things, it is used to install applications on your BlackBerry. Please make sure that you have the latest version of the Desktop Manager.

Connect your BlackBerry device to your computer and double-click on the Application Loader icon.

Follow the steps in the Application Loader dialog box. Choose ADD, select the extracted file AntairCallScreener.alx, and click NEXT.

You're done! Antair BlackBerry Call Screener is now installed on your BlackBerry device.

You can access the program by clicking on the application icon.
