Antair Snippets 1.3.3

May 4th, 2010

We released a small patch to Antair Snippets today. This makes Antair Snippets version 1.3.3

If you are using version 1.3.0, you should definitely update to this new version, as there have been a few bug fixes since that version.

If you are using 1.3.1 and everything is fine, you can hold off on updating to 1.3.3, as this new patch addresses a very specific issue which affects only a small number of devices.

If you are updating, as always, you can back up your existing data using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Although, with a simple patch update like this, you can probably install the new version on top of the old edition without the device removing the underlying data.

Cheers!

Antair Snippets: Hidden Feature Highlight

April 24th, 2010

The video for Antair Snippets shows you how easy it is to create a new Snippet from an existing email.

When you have an email that you think will come in useful in the future, you simply choose Create Snippet from the menu.

Assign a shortcut if you want, and save your new Snippet.

But what if you wanted to create a Snippet from a portion of your email? Well, that’s easy too.

Simply highlight the section of the email you want to save, and choose Create Snippet from the menu.

Antair Snippets is smart enough to figure out that you want to create a Snippet from your selection, and does exactly that.

Introducing Antair Snippets

April 14th, 2010

Antair Snippets 1.3 for BlackBerry smart-phones was released last night.

What does it do?

Snippets allows you to create shortcuts for frequently typed email messages, common responses, signatures, or any other text that you don’t want to keep retyping over and over.

With Snippets, you don’t need to type out that long response. Just type the shortcut, and Snippets will automatically insert the entire response into your outgoing email.

So, what can it do for me?

With Antair Snippets, you can send thorough, detailed email responses in seconds, without having to type a word.

Not having to retype the same email message saves time, and cuts down on mistakes. With Antair Snippets, your travel directions and task instructions will always be detailed and accurate.

Antair Snippets integrates seamlessly with your BlackBerry inbox. You can insert, create, browse, and edit all of your Snippets, without leaving the BlackBerry email application. Your Snippets are automatically inserted into the message you are composing.

Is there more?

Sure, take a look at the Antair Snippets movie to see the application in action.

Cheers!
