I have purchased Antair BlackBerry Spam Filter. How do I activate the full version of the product?
Immediately after your purchase, you will receive a REGISTRATION CODE by e-mail.
Start Antair BlackBerry Spam Filter 3.0 by clicking on its icon. Depending on your BlackBerry model, this icon will either be on the main screen or under the APPLICATIONS folder.
Click on the trackwheel or the menu button to the left of the trackball (depending on your BlackBerry model), to bring up the main application menu.
Scroll toward the bottom of the menu and select FULL VERSION.
The FULL VERSION screen has a button which, when clicked, will allow you to enter your registration code.
Entering the registration code unlocks the full version of the product and removes the restrictions of the trial version.
I get a net.rim.blackberry.api error during installation.
This error message is caused by the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. You do not need to use this software at all. In fact, you can install all of our products directly from within your BlackBerry device. Simply point your BlackBerry web browser to http://www.antair.com/ota
I get an invalid digital signatures error message when installing the software.
On some corporate BlackBerry devices, the IT policy restricts installation of third-party applications. In this case, you will need to contact your corporate BlackBerry IT administrator in order to modify the IT policy.
Program Operation
The spam filter doesn't seem to be filtering anything.
If you have just installed Antair BlackBerry Spam Filter, or if you have had it running perfectly well for some time, and have only recently noticed that no spam messages are being filtered (the statistics screen displays the same counter for number of messages filtered), this means that Antair BlackBerry Spam Filter lost its 'connection' to the BlackBerry INBOX. This can occur after new installations, or after several months of use if the BlackBerry device decides to reinitialize its service books without letting other applications know about it.
The solution is quite simple. Perform a hard-reset on the device. The easiest way to do this is to pull the device battery, and replace it after a few minutes. You will not lose any data performing a hard-reset, and upon restart, both the BlackBerry and Antair BlackBerry Spam Filter will be synchronized and in perfect working order.
How do I remove the application from my BlackBerry?
To remove any installed BlackBerry application from your device, go to OPTIONS, ADVANCED OPTIONS, APPLICATIONS. Find the entry for the application you wish to remove, click on the scroll wheel or the menu button, and choose DELETE. If prompted to restart the device, do so.
