What are whitelists and blacklists?

Whitelists are "safe" lists. There is the address, domain, term and server-tag whitelist section.

When an email arrives with an address, domain, word, or server tag that is in one of the whitelists, the message is not treated as spam.

Your BlackBerry address book contacts are automatically whitelisted for you.

Blacklists are just the opposite. When an email arrives with an address, domain, word, or server tag that is in one of the blacklisted entries, the message is treated as spam.
